Professor C. K. Noble book about Power and Leadership (Palgrave) will be released at the end of 2025. She is the editor of the book International Careers and Academia, and is the first co-editor of Careers without Borders (Routledge).

Professional Bio
C. K. Noble earned her Ph.D. by the University College of London, U.K. She received her certificate applauded by Princess Anne and a PhD award by the University of London attributed when the candidate has minor amends fixed in less than three days. One PhD is registered in the area of International Management and the other is in the area of Societies, Economics and Organizations. Although these areas are interrelated, the academic fields claim very different literatures and methodologies.
After a remarkable international career in the corporate world of European multinationals and after receiving promotion and tenure in the U.S.A., Professor Noble became an independent scholar affiliated with Harvard University where she is alumna.
She held international visiting teaching appointments in Germany at Bayreuth University, Austria at University of Innsbruck, Finland at Hanken for a post-doctorate and in other European countries. After 2013, she also taught online for the American University and Guizouh University in China. She held a research fellowship in Brazil at University Gertulio Vargas, São Paulo.
Professor Noble is the editor of the book entitled “International Careers and Academia.” This book was published in 2025 and was the result of a major effort from academics around the world. The project was not sponsored by any research grant, institution or academic job.
“Those true scientists are not privileged people and have many untold stories full of personal sacrifices. Some had to work in low skilled routine jobs to put food on their tables while writing and publishing their scientific work.”
Currently, she is writing about ethics, strategic decision-making and power. It includes discussions of economic inequality and the impact of technology. She is also designing new content for online courses which will be available at Iversity and Palgrave publishers.
