ABSTRACT 

Navigating Dilemmas is a clear, engaging book which answers questions like: What really matters in our societies? Whose interests count?  

This book shows how individual and collective responsible ethical orientations, a concept developed by the author shapes everyday decisions in the exercise of power and influence. It discusses contemporary social dilemmas—such as those brought by branding, digital social media, private-public lives and global value chains. Along these topics, the author argues that technological narratives of power and scientific agendas of behaviorism are formatting meanings of sensemaking. These are woven topics discussed throughout the book to show how processes of conformity and resistance can illuminate today’s most pressing questions with provocative empirical insights to prompt reflection.
